Ssekulama Bruno
I am Ssekulama Bruno, aged 17, I stopped in S.2 and I am staying with my parents and we are four at home. My life became so complicated after my Daddy getting an accident. I had lost hope of continuing with my studies since I had no support for my education since it was Daddy who used to provide our basic needs at home and I had to resort to farming as the only solution to support my life since hope for completing O level had gone not until I came across “HUPGEN” which saved my life and now there is hope for the better future. So I decided to join carpentry
What I have learnt from the project?
I have learnt how to make stools like dove tails, mighter and catcher
I have learnt how to make a bed
I have learnt how to join a cupboard
I have learnt many types of joints
I have learnt how to control my life through life skills
What I want to achieve from the project
- I want to achieve carpentry .skills
- I want to get a sponsor, tools for carpentry
My thought after the project
- My personal work shop
- Being a counsellor
- Being a teacher for carpentry
Nkambwe Micheal
I am Nkambwe Micheal aged 18, I stopped in S.3, I lost mummy so I am staying with my Daddy and Brother and we are three people. My education back ground was not so well because of the poor situation at my home because Daddy was no longer working and we were only based on farming as the income generating activity, Since Daddy, I had had to give up with up with study because there wasn’t enough money to support my education in institutions of learning. So that is why I decided to join carpentry. What I have learnt ever since I joined the project.

Yiga Luutu
Yiga Luutu, aged 17, I stopped in S.3 and I stay with my sister before I joined hope I was a shop attendant but it was due lack of enough capital to sustain the business and yet I had to care of my life and yet I had support since the business had collapsed I had no alternative and had to find the way forward for my future and I ended up joining “HUPGEN” to restore my hope and by now am doing carpentry.

Besigye Asher
Besigye Asher, I am 18 year, level education S.3, I stay with parents and we are seven at home. Before I joined “HUPGEN”, I used to help my parents with farm and house work because there money for further studies

I am Bakka Wamala ,level of education S.3 and I am aged 20 single life because I am orphan, before I joined the program I was in village digging and during my free time I was to play football, so I am carpenter after joining HUPGEN
What I have learnt ever since I joined the program?
- I have learnt how to make tables
- How make flames & Doors
- How to make cap board
- I have to even how to measure
What I want achieve from the project?
- I want achieve tool box , lander and hand sow
- Starting capital
- I want to go to other projects to carry out research

Ssenjogela Henry, 19 years, I stopped in P.7, My life was very complicated because I used to stay with my relatives and living in an extended my family of which we lacked most of the basic needs like education and there was no alternative for me to continue with education and I felt like life had lost its meaning not until HUPGEN came to rescue my life with better life skills and by now am doing Carpentry & Tailoring

Nampijja Gertrude, am aged 18, my level of education is S.3 , I stay with my parents and we are five at home, it was after my daddy getting involved in accident that is where my studies ended and the only activities I was doing was digging and they were advertises which rescued my life & I doing Tailoring course at HUPGEN
